The former governor had earlier disclose of a scholarship scheme he is currently giving out to 58 most "intelligent"Nigerian students to mark his 58th birthday anniversary.
He earlier disclose, the scholarship scheme is going to run in partnership with Joint Matriculation Board (JAMB), this to him will help pick the best students across the country that will benefit from the scholarship.
This he made known when the senate president, Ahmed Lawan had paid him a visit, congratulating him on his various archivement and on attending his 58th years in good spirit.
The former governor stated, "I am willing to give 58 brilliant student free education to study any course of their choice in any Tertiary institution in the country ".
He further added that "the sholarlarship scheme is in partnership with JAMB, once you have meet the criteria needed you will be given automatic free education from the board sponsored by me". 'This one is not for the poor children this time around, but for the intelligent ones;he added.
